A bit of history
The old Conigliaro pasta factory
The building has a long and fascinating history and in its past was also home to a pasta factory. In fact, it housed the famous Conigliaro pasta factory until the 1950s. At one time there were chimneys, offices and warehouses on the lower floors, while the upper floors housed the Conigliaro family’s residences.

The four wonderful rooms of Aretè Guest House are equipped with a private balcony including table, chairs and sun-umbrella, have been designed to accommodate the guest, ensuring maximum comfort and total privacy.

Aretè is located a couple of kilometers from the island of Ortigia and the main tourist sites (Greek Theatre, Ear of Dionysus, Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Lacrime (Madonna of Tears), Paolo Orsi’s Archaeological Museum, Latomie dei Cappuccini, S.
